Kootenay Driving Academy is excited to be partnered with DriveWise BC to bring their ICBC Approved Graduated Licensing Program (GLP) to learners in our area.

DriveWise BC is one of the province’s most trusted and experienced driving schools, and together we’re committed to giving local students everything they need to succeed. Through this program, eligible students can earn two high‑school credits and reduce their “N” stage by six months—a huge advantage as they work toward full licensing.

Your online classroom learning and e‑modules are delivered by DriveWise BC in the comfort of your own home, and all in‑car practical training is provided by Kootenay Driving Academy's expert coach.  It’s a seamless, supportive blend of expert instruction designed to help new drivers feel confident, prepared, and ready for the road ahead.

Who is This For?  

The Graduated Licensing Program is designed for Learners in the “L” stage who want a structured, supportive path to earning their license. 

To register for the Graduated Licensing Program (GLP), simply click the “BOOK NOW” link. This will take you to DriveWise BC's Website, where you’ll complete your registration form and submit payment for your GLP package. (Convenient Payment Plans are Available)

Your package includes:

• 12 hours of instructor‑led online classroom sessions
• 8 hours of self‑paced e‑learning
• 12 hours of in‑car driving lessons (8 lessons at 90 minutes each)

Once your registration is complete, DriveWise BC will securely share your customer profile with Kootenay Driving Academy.

After you’ve finished at least one online classroom session, you’ll be eligible to begin booking your in‑car lessons with Kootenay Driving Academy.
